The Habitat Build & Repair Corps offers hands-on training in residential construction where you will develop new skills and build affordable homes for local families. Earn a stipend while you prepare for your future.
Habitat Build & Repair Corps members serve through the state AmeriCorps program in local neighborhoods. AmeriCorps is a network of national service programs that fosters civic engagement, members commit their time to address critic community needs. Our members gain direct experience and skills training in demolition, framing, carpentry, drywall, landscaping and more. A full time (1700 hours), three-quarter time (1200 hours), half time (900 hours) or reduced half time (675 hours) term gives members the time to practice technical skills, act as site leaders, and build a stronger resume for future employment.
